The headquarters is an international territory, consisting of four buildings: the Secretariat Building, the Conference Hall Building, the General Assembly Hall and the Hammarskjold Library. You need to make an appointment in advance to visit. The sculptures on the square represent the wish for peace. You can buy postcards in the souvenir shop and stamp them here.

Must-see tips

1. There are guided tours every day in the headquarters. There are Chinese guides, but only once a week. Please check the Chinese tour time on the official website in advance. The starting point of the guided tour is in the public lobby of the conference, and the work of the organization will be explained to visitors.

2. Some parliamentary venues may be closed for visits due to meetings, so visitors should be prepared.

3. When entering the headquarters for a visit, sleeveless clothes and shorts are not allowed. No liquids are allowed inside, and large bags need to be stored.
